Band and Orchestra Students; REMEMBER - You are to be practicing 10-15 minutes EVERY day. This is your homework assignment!!!! Just like in written school assignments, if you don't keep up with your homework, you will start to fall behind! Falling behind leads to discouragement, not practicing, and finally quitting. PARENTS; Please ensure that your child is bringing their instrument home and playing their lessons every day.

Monday - Reviewing space and line notes. Beginning new recorder song using G, A, and B.
HOMEWORK - Worksheet that will be due on Wednesday!
Wednesday - Homework due. Continue working on new songs (from song binders) on recorder. Add CD accompaniment. Learn new note "C".
Friday - Singing Day!
6th Grade -
MONDAY -Space notes and Line notes.Playing composed songs for the class. Learning new note "C". Playing new recorder songs that use CD accompaniment.
HOMEWORK - Worksheet will be due onWednesday.
WEDNESDAY - Homework due!! Reviewing new songs with CD accompaniment. Continue with any composed songs that were not played on Monday.
Friday -Singing Day.

Tuesday;
Reviewing counting, adding bar lines and symbols. Homework; Worksheet that will be due on Thursday. continuing with drum circle.
