REHEARSALS -
  Monday; Beginning Band/ Advanced Orchestra
  Tuesday; Steel Drums/ Drama/ Beginning Orchestra
  Wednesday; Drama
  Thursday; Chimes/ Beginning Band
  Friday; Advanced Band - SMALL GROUP INDIVIDUAL STUDY
INSTRUMENTS should go home EVERY day. If instruments are left in the music room or classroom, they will be subject to a 50 cent  per day "instrument sitting" fee.
 STUDENTS SHOULD BE PRACTICING THEIR ASSIGNMENT 10-15 MINUTES EVERY DAY.


All classes begin with the singing 2 verses of the National Anthem.
5th Grade - Homework on WEDNESDAY DUE ON FRIDAY.
Monday - Singing. Working on pages11 and 12 in our recorder books.
Wednesday -Singing. Reviewing Pages 11 and 12 in Recorder
.Friday - Singing Day

6th Grade - Homework on WEDNESDAY DUE ON FRIDAY.
Monday - Singing. Working on Pages 18 and 19 in our recorder books.
Wednesday - Singing. Reviewing pages 18 and 19 in recorder.
Friday - Singing Day.

Grades 7/8
If your child is absent on Tuesday, they will find their assignment - with their name on the page on the white board in the Music Room. They should pick up their homework as soon as they return to school, so it can be turned in on time. EX> Absent on Tuesday, but returns to school on Wednesday. HW should be picked up on Wednesday, so it can be turned in on time on Thursday. If your child is absent on Thursday and returns on Friday, Homework should be turned in before school is over on Friday.
Tuesday - Periods 1,5,7 - Reviewing barline, note values.
                  Periods 2,4,6 - Reviewing Barlines. Creating a Drum Circle. Playing independent
                                               rhythms on percussion instruments.
HOMEWORK ON TUESDAY - DUE ON THURSDAY.

Thursday - Singing. Reviewing lesson from Tuesday.
